Job description
RESPONSIBILITIES (Not limited to:)
- Develop Marketing communications Plans/GTMs under guidance of the Chief Marketing officer supported by robust and innovative campaign creative to ensure effective positioning, Perception drive and cut through.
- Leads the execution of MTN Media strategy, ensuring effective execution of campaigns on radio, tv, outdoor and all media channels and riving compliance by all media houses and service providers.
- Ensure Brand compliance under guidance of the Chief Commercial Officer
- Ensures the MTNSS Corporate Identity (CI) policies, processes and procedures are well disseminated amongst MTN departments to facilitate effective brand management
- Develop engaging and effective corporate communication campaigns for driving understanding and buy-in among critical stakeholders
- Supervise the deployment of integrated communication and engagement strategy which positively influence stakeholder perception of MTNSS and its activities in South Sudan
- Develop and provide key communication support for corporate events and high quality speeches/presentations for executive management as well as relevant MTN Group publications.
- Translates Brand Communications strategy and objectives into communication objectives and plans to ensure a positive perception of the company and its brands.
- Defines the objectives of any advertising campaign or promotion and submit them to the internal creative team and any external service providers.
- Manage the day to day activities relating to advertising campaigns, corporate communications and external relations.
- Develops clear and robust briefs to internal creative team, partner agencies/service providers to influence quality strategies and creative campaigns and media plans.
- Leads on the planning and implementation of exhibitions and sponsorships to ensure the appropriate representation of the MTN brand and
- ensure execution of MTN branding at all sponsored events, exhibitions and other MTN related initiatives.
- Review and edit existing promotional materials for marketing effectiveness, cross-selling implications and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Coordinates and monitors content on MTNSS digital portals to ensure currency and conformance with communications strategy and standards
- Monitors Brand & Communications expenditure to maintain budgetary control
- Prepares and presents to the Chief Marketing Officer weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports in agreed formats and on a timely basis
- Stay abreast of developments in areas of expertise and perform to the highest ethical and professional standards
- Carries out any related duties that will enhance the mission of the job as directed by the Chief Marketing Officer
IT Security Responsibilities/ Tasks:

- Report security weakness/incidents to either the respective head of department or the Enterprise Information Security Manager
