Leadership and Personnel Management

• Ability to work in a team

Governance

Adhoc and Operational Meetings

• Participate and provide inputs in operational meetings
• Set up and manage adhoc meetings
• Ensure coordination, communication and control between function and process owners

Escalations

• Timely notification of escalations to the Manager
• Resolve escalations as per defined escalation / resolution procedures

 

Opco Operational

• Participate and provide inputs to project status meetings
• Propose operational changes and provide associated user impact assessment

Performance

• Ensure effective execution of day-to-day operations and resolve operational issues
• Improve productivity and quality through leading practice initiatives

Reporting

• Provide inputs to the Manager (as required) relating to progress made within the sub-division in accordance with the measurement metrics set by the organization

Operational Delivery

• Participate in implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving the organization’s Information Security Management System and security frameworks in accordance with best practices (e.g. ISO27k1, NIST).
• Implement processes related to GRC (governance, risk and compliance), to continuously monitor information security controls, exceptions, and risks.
• Ensure the release of documentation related to security policies and procedures.
• Train, inform and sensitize all stakeholders, including third parties and external partners, on Information System security issues.
• Monitor internal and external audit points and check for vulnerabilities.
• Assess, monitor, and report on the performance of third parties and their compliance with security agreements and SLAs.
• Develop reporting metrics and report on the performance of the security programmes to the relevant stakeholders as required.
• Handle security incidents.
• Assist and advise system owners and administrators on security changes.
• Collaborate with other Information Security functions and team members in executing the Information Security programmes.

IT Security Responsibilities/ Tasks:

 Comply with all Information Security Policies and related documents.

• Report security weakness/incidents to either the respective head of department or the Enterprise Information Security Manager
• Must not exploit known security weaknesses.
• Participate in all forms of Information Security Awareness
