Donation of MEDICAL EQUIPMENT to Juba Teaching Hospital

Earlier Today, MTN South Sudan, donated Medical Items to Juba Teaching Hospital -ICU department, as part of its Corporate Social Investment initiative, to give back to the community.
On hand to receive the items were medical staff of the Hospital led by Dr Akol, together with Women from CONCERN South Sudan led by Hon Rachel Nyadak as well as MTN South Sudan staff Led by Helda Aburi; Head of HR and Corporate Services. Concern South Sudan a womens NGO partnered with MTN on this project.
The items delivered included 1 ultrsound machine, 2 ECG(Electrocardiogram) monitors and 10 infusion pumps.
‘MTN is a great partner, we are grateful for the contribution, it will do a great thing for our people, since ICU is one of our biggest challenges. We acknowledge the contribution and may God bless MTN for God blesses the hand that gives” Hon Rachel Nyadok
Helda Aburi-Head of HR and Corporate Services had this to say in her remarks,
‘One our strategies is to give back to the community including the Government, which is a national priority, The ICU is for all people. I am so happy that on behalf of MTN TODAY As part of our Corporate Social Investment we are giving a token to contribute to the establishment of the ICU, we hope that these machines will rescue a life and reduce the trend of travelling abroad to get treatment’
